At Breaking Dawn Therapy, we are in-network with the following insurance providers:
-
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan
-
Blue Care Network
-
Priority Health Plan
-
HSA (Health Spending Account)
-
Private Pay (Accepting all major credit cards via Stripe credit card processing)
If you are insured with one of these providers, your therapy sessions may be covered under your plan. We encourage you to check your individual coverage details, as plans and benefits can vary.
Insurance listed as out-of-network may not cover our services. You must verify with your insurance carrier whether services are covered; otherwise, you may be responsible for the cash discounted rate.
Sliding Scale Fees- Sliding fees are available for clients who meet income requirements on a limited availability basis. Please inquire if interested.
HSA – Superbills will be provided to clients who have HSA accounts or are utilizing OON benefits.
For any questions about using insurance for therapy sessions or understanding your coverage, feel free to contact us.
Here are some questions you can ask your insurance provider:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is the benefit for out-of-network providers?
- What is my deductible, and has it been met for this year?
- How many therapy sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount for each therapy session?
Please Note: Insurance companies dictate the length of treatment and require that you be diagnosed with a mental health disorder in order for therapy session costs to be covered. A mental health diagnosis remains permanently on your health record. Insurance companies have the right to audit your therapy files and ask questions of your therapist about your treatment.
